Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation 2022 Applications!

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation will be opening its applications for the 2022 school year starting tomorrow. They are looking for qualified Marine Corps families whose children are in college or heading off to college!

Dog Tag is looking for eager veterans, caregivers, and military spouses who are interested in a career change or looking to further their ideas in the entrepreneurial field!

MVP is coming to Orlando! 

Merging Vets and Players will be attending this year's Student Veterans of America Conference in Orlando! This conference brings together student veterans and employers to help veterans transition into a career. 

Merging Vets and Players will be in attendance and will be hosting their own workout event on Jan 8th.

What We've Been Up To

SA 12-17 Award

Soldiers Angels Food Distribution

This month, Semper Capital Management L.P. was able to co-sponsor a food distribution on FL, giving over 70,000 lbs in food to 210 veteran families! Maria Carlin and Chris Proctor donated their time and were able to accept the Golden Wing award on our behalf!

Wreaths Across America 

This year, Riley Gregoire, from Semper Capital Management L.P., and Peter Thompson, from CAVU Securities, were able to volunteer some time to Wreaths Across America and lay wreaths on almost 500 veteran gravestones this holiday season!

 

The mission of True North, to make a positive contribution to the veteran community and inspire our peers to prioritize charitable actions, is more important than ever. The COVID-19 crisis has caused widespread uncertainty and stress, and for our nation's heroes recovering from physical injuries, seeking treatment for PTS, seeking meaningful employment, or simply providing for their families, this pandemic has exacerbated the challenges they already face. Physical distancing and social isolation have increased the need for support, and we remain committed to the partnerships that embody our True North.
